One of the easiest ways to check your Salik balance is through the official Salik website.

Visit the Salik.ae website.
Click on “Check my balance”.
Enter your mobile number.
Select your emirate.
Choose the Vehicle type.
Select vehicle code.
Enter your vehicle plate number and click check balance.
Your Salik balance will be displayed on the screen.

Check Salik Balance Through RTA Website

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is a government organisation which is responsible for planning and executing projects related to traffic, roads, and transportation. Along with the other services on the website, you can check your Salik balance by Plate Number and by Account.

Here is the step by step guide:

Check Salik Balance through RTA website by plate number

Visit the RTA’s official website.
Select “Salik Balance” on the homepage.
Choose whether you want to check balance by the vehicle’s “Plate Number” or your “RTA Account Number”.
For the Plate Number method, choose your vehicle code from the drop down menu, enter your plate number and mobile phone number in the required fields, and click ‘Check’.

For the Account Number method, enter your account number and PIN, then click ‘Check’.
Available balance in your Salik Account will be shown on the screen.

Check Balance Through Smart Salik App

The government of Dubai has launched an official mobile app through which you can avail multiple services such as checking your balance, fines, recharge, and tag activation.

Here is how to check your Salik balance:

Simply open the Smart Salik app on your mobile phone.
Enter your username and password in the required fields.
Click on “Sign in” button.
Your available account balance will be shown on app’s home screen.

Create a user account on Smart Salik App

Open the app on your mobile phone.
Click on “New Online User” at the bottom of the screen.
Enter account number written on Salik Card.
Write your mobile number and click next.
Enter the 4 digit OTP received to your mobile phone and confirm.
Write user name, enter a new password, re-enter the password and click confirm.
You have successfully created an account on Smart Salik App.

Through RTA Dubai Drive App

RTA’s Dubai Drive app is another convenient method through which you can view your Salik balance.

Step 1: Open the app.
Step 2: Enter your user name and password or log in through UAE Pass.
Step 3: On the home screen select “Salik”.
Step 4: You will see the available balance on your screen.

Through Salik Self-Service Call

You can check your Salik balance via a self-service phone call by following these steps:

Call 800 72545. This is Salik’s self service.
Choose the language by dialling 1 for Arabic, and 2 for English.
Press 3 to sign in to your account. Enter your 8 digit account number press #.
An automated customer support will inform you about your current balance.
You can press 1 to reconfirm if you didn’t catch the balance the first time.

How To Check Salik History

Salik Prices in 2025

Starting from January 2025, Salik has updated its pricing. The toll fee will now be AED 6, with varying charges based on different times of the day. Travel between 1:00 AM and 6:00 AM is free of charge.
